First Known Cannon that Fired Iron Darts from the 1300s

A cannon that fired iron darts is known to have existed in the 1300s. The darts, sometimes called garros, were wrapped with a leather gasket to prevent windage. The gun had no provision for aiming or counteracting recoil.
